02 — Legal
Terms of use.
Who owns what, what you may do with it, and the limits of my liability for a website that is, in the end, a portfolio.

01Acceptance
By accessing Alexishq you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, the sensible thing to do is close the tab — there is nothing here you need. These terms apply to the website only, and not to any subsequent engagement between us, which will be governed by its own written agreement.
02Intellectual property in the displayed work
The design of this website, its source code, its written content and the essays published under Writing are the property of Alexishq and are protected by copyright. All rights are reserved.
The work shown in the project pages is more complicated, and it is worth being precise about it. Each project was produced for a client under a written agreement. Ownership of the final deliverables rests with those clients. The images, wordmarks, logotypes and product designs shown belong to their respective owners and are displayed here only as portfolio examples of my own contribution, which I retain the right to show under the standard portfolio clause in each engagement.
Third-party typefaces are shown under their own licences and are not distributed here. Where an image is credited to a photographer in the credits table of a project, that credit identifies the rights holder.
03What you may do
- You may read everything, link to any page, quote a short passage of an essay with attribution and a link back.
- You may use the source of this site as a reference for learning — structure, technique, how a shader is gated behind a capability check.
- You may not reproduce the design, the writing or the imagery commercially, present any of it as your own work, or use it to train a generative model.
- You may not scrape, mirror or systematically extract the content, or attempt to circumvent the access controls on the source repository.
04Accuracy of case studies
Project descriptions are written after the fact and from my own perspective. Metrics quoted in the outcomes tables are drawn from client reporting at the time of launch and are reproduced as they were given to me; they are not independently audited, and they describe the state of a system at a moment in time that has since passed. Nothing on this site is a promise about what a future project will achieve.
05No warranty
This website is provided as is and as available, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. I do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free, or that the information on it is complete or current. Benchmarks, performance figures and Lighthouse scores refer to the specific hardware, network and version of the site that produced them.
06Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Alexishq shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill or use, arising from your use of or inability to use this website — whether in contract, tort, negligence or any other theory of liability — even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to EUR 50.
07External links
Project pages link to live sites, repositories and third-party profiles. Those destinations are outside my control, are not endorsed by me, and I accept no responsibility for their content, availability, security or privacy practices. A link is a pointer, not a recommendation of everything behind it. If a link has rotted or points somewhere it should not, tell me and it will be fixed.
08Availability
The site is hosted on a managed platform and is offered as a portfolio rather than a service. It may be taken offline, reorganised, archived or substantially changed without notice, and there is no commitment to keep any particular URL stable. If you need to cite something here, archive the page yourself.
09Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with them shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India, India. Before starting anything formal, please email me — nearly everything can be resolved in a paragraph.
